DNT showcases an unforgettable, ferocious performance from Magugu - the Nigerian, UK-based ‘Pidgin Rap Experimentalist’. Living up to his mission statement to mashup the sounds of Africa and the West, Magugu commands Casement’s 140bpm ‘mutant dancehall’ backdrop with a booming tone and signature Pidgin English flow. Following explosive releases alongside DJ Shiftee, Boa Kusasa and frequent partner-in-crime Stagga, Deep Cover is privileged to collaborate with Magugu on this project – the first of a series of releases pairing the MC with a dynamic new generation of UK producers.

B-side Pangea is undoubtedly one of Casement’s most frenetic, accomplished forays into the world of UK Funky, with huge, crunchy basslines behind a relentless percussive assault.
